What software will best utilize the iPhone interface?

With the SDK now reaching developers it is important that healthcare providers contribute to the creation of healthcare iPhone/iPod Touch titles. Straight ports of Palm and Windows Mobile applications would do little to advance the use of handheld computing in practice. These applications have been designed for a very small memory footprint and very small display screen. These limitations are now lifted with the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Initial brainstorming about the best use of the iPhone is needed now. Some things to include are:

1. Good quality photos. Current software is very limited in quality and file size. This should now be less of a limitation.

2. Intuitive tab buttons. The mobile Google site shows how effective clear tabs can be to organize sections of an application.

3. Links to Internet resources. Applications should link to online resources that can keep even more data than could reside on the device.

There's three things. What else would you like to see in clinical software for nurses and physicians?
