Software is on the way

I got an e-mail from a major distributor of handheld medical and nursing software that they are hard at work to produce applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch. There already are several distributors offering iPhone applications but these require a continuous network connection to work. The big change for healthcare providers is that the new SDK will bring applications that reside on the device and are not dependent on Wi-Fi or EDGE connections to the Internet. Expect to see applications available by the Fall of 2008.
